We visited The Children's Museum of Atlanta yesterday. We planned a couple of activities for this three-day weekend, but the weather wasn't very cooperative, so we picked an indoor activity.
The current exhibit is "WEEBLES Coast to Coast," with displays about the 50 states of the USA. And they had a machine that moved plastic balls around, a sand-box, and play area for children 5 and under. Amane seemed to like to play with new toys at the play area, but I felt she was a bit too young to enjoy the exhibit.
The admission is $12.75 plus tax for age 1 over. I think it is a bit pricy for what it is. And I am a total clean freak, so I couldn't help wondering about how often the toys and exhibits get cleaned.
But overall, it will be a great activity for older children and next time we go, I definitely want Amane to try the tap dancing and costume areas!

今週末は3連休で、家族っぽい事をしようと色々計画してたのですが、昨日は生憎の雨だったので、室内施設のチルドレンズ・ミュージアム・オブ・アトランタに行ってきました。
その名の通り、子供の為の博物館で現在の催し物はアメリカの50州について学ぶ展示。
それぞれの州の特産品や名物をパネルと実物で紹介。アラスカだったら犬ぞり、テキサスはNASAとかね。
他には乳搾り体験のできるロボット牛がいたり、タップダンス体験、磁石のついた魚と釣り竿で釣り堀体験、小さい子供の遊ぶスペースなど割と充実。
でもやはり我が家の10ヶ月の娘にはちと早いかなと言う感じでした。歩き回れて、実際に展示物などで遊べるようになったら、本人も満足できそう。
更に私は超ド級の潔癖性なので、ちびっこスペースとかのおもちゃや床を見ては、これって閉館後清掃される事あんのかな…いや、なさそう…とか思いを馳せては背筋をぞくぞくさせてしまうので、居心地が悪いったらありゃーせん。
ちびこっを育てる上では致命的な性癖であります。
ちなみに入場料は1歳以上は$12.75（税抜）この内容にしてはちとお高めと感じました。
グルーポンなどで割引チケットで行く分には充分かな。
