Cats& a Baby 猫と赤ん坊

Our two beautiful kitties (Kiki and Koi-san) have adjusted to the baby pretty well.  Recently, Amane has been chasing them, trying to steal their treats, pulling their ears and tails, but they never show any aggression towards her.  It's like watching a comedy act.  I don't exactly how the cats are feeling about her, but I hope that one day they can play together.

I feel bad that we can't spend as much time playing with them as we'd like.  I want to make them feel happy living with us.

ネコと赤子

我が家のネコ娘２匹、キキとこいさん。

最近ははいはいする人間の娘雨音に追いかけ回され、ちょと気を抜けばしっぽや耳を引っ張られ、おやつすらおちおち食べてらんない状況下にありながらも、不思議とひっかいたり、噛んだりする素振りすら見せません。

「猫にとって嫌な事をしてるって、かっちゃかれれば（これって北海道弁？）分かる」

と言う動物王国育ちの夫ちゃんの意見もごもっともなんですが、さすがにそれは避けたいところ。

でも、見ていると赤子に部屋の隅に追いつめられた時ですらも「触らぬ神に祟り無し、ほなッ」ってな感じですすーっと逃走するにゃんこ達。賢い選択。

それでも「むはっむはっ」と満面の笑みで追いかけてゆく娘と迷惑顔なにゃんこ達に幸あれ。

いつか仲良く遊ぶ日が来るのかな。

Life with Kitties 猫との生活

Let me introduce our two special kitties today.

Kiki

Favorite place to nap: Amane's crib, laundry basket, on top of daddy

Favorite pastime activity: trying to lick human's toothbrush

Way to get human attention : sit right in front of the TV

Likes: Thunder storm, pink mouse toy

Dislikes: wet wipe, sometimes Koi-san, wet food with chicken, being picked up

Koi-san

Favorite place to nap: anywhere with warm sunshine, under the bedsheets

Favorite pastime activity: ambush Kiki when she goes to toilet

Way to get human attention : flop down in front of your feet, wait for them in front of the bathroom door

Likes: Food, Back scratch, Sitting with her humans, Baby play mat, nap etc etc

Dislikes : vacuum cleaner

猫が２匹います

同じ猫とはいえやはり性格があって、結婚した4年前に家族の仲間入りをしたキキ（写真上）は

「こやつ、我らの言ってる事、全部分かってるんじゃ…」

と空恐ろしくなるよな訳知り顔のにゃんこだし

新入りのこいさん（写真下）はご飯大好き人間大好きキキも大好き何でも大好きな

わんこのような愛にあふれたにゃんこです。

毎日ふわふわとそれぞれの愛情表現で幸せを分けてくれるこの2匹

私達の所に来て良かったなぁと思ってくれればいい

マックス幸せな生活を送ってもらう為に出来る事を毎日してあげようと思います
