It was our 5th anniversary last Friday. We dated 5 years before getting married, so we've known each other for 10 years now, wow! Like any other couples, we had ups and downs, but I think we've had more ups in our relationship and been very happy.
Grandma was kind enough to offer to take Amane woth her for the weekend, so we could have date night on Friday night. We went Altobeli's Italian Restaurant and Piano Bar. We drove by this restaurant couple of times and always wanted to check out, and piano bar sounds like a place that might not be so child friendly. So we thought it was a good opportunity.
It turned out be more casual than I expected, but the service was wonderful and the food was delicious! (especially their home-made Creme Brulee!)
As for the piano part, we were told anyone could participate in singing. My husband said he'd do it next time, I am looking forward to it since he's such a great singer :) And our waiter was such a awesome singer! We were so amazed.
We had such a wonderful anniversary and looking forward to next 5 years with him and our growing family.

先週金曜は結婚５周記念日でした。
結婚する前の交際期間を含むともう知り合って10年目の我ら。
どこのカップルも同じかとは思いますが、国際結婚って事も含め、様々なドラマや紆余曲折がござんしたよ、そりゃもう。
でも結婚してからは「ジョージア州１穏やかなカップル（自薦他薦含む）」として平穏な日々を過ごしています。
てな訳で週末は雨音を義母に預けて2人で時間を過ごす事に。
金曜は近所にあるイタリアンレストラン/ピアノバーに夕食へ。
旦那同僚から、「おじいさんおばあさんしかいない」と聞いていたのでさぞかし和やかな雰囲気だろうなとは想像してましたが、本当に平均年齢65歳以上。自分達がこんなに若いと感じたのは久々でした。
ご飯も美味しかったし、スタッフも超フレンドリーでとても良い感じでした。特にクリームブリュレが絶品。（アメリ好き世代の鉄板デザート）
そしてピアノ部門では、誰でも歌えるらしく、我が旦那は次回参戦すると意気込んでおりました。日本時代カラオケで鍛えた爽やかボイスが自慢の彼です。我が旦那ながら、本当に上手い。
ちなみに私達のウェイターも当日歌ってたのですが、今すぐこの仕事辞めた方がいいよって位の上手さ。オペラ歌手並。度肝を抜かれた金曜でした。
何はともあれ、良くもここまで来たな、私達。とあっという間に過ぎ去った10年を振り返りながらも、この先またどんな事があるのか、今後は子供達も含めて成長していくのが楽しみな我が家です。
